Butterfly ITTF Approved 3-Star 40mm Table Tennis Balls (6-Pack)

The Butterfly Three Star Table Tennis Ball Six-Pack contains six of Butterfly's three-star 40-millimeter table tennis balls in either white or orange. Butterfly's three-star balls have been chosen as the official ball of the ITTF World Junior Circuit through 2007 and were the official ball of the 2004 North American Olympic Doubles Trials. USATT and ITTF approved, only the best table tennis balls are included in Butterfly's three-star packs, and are chosen for their exceptional roundness and consistency through a rigorous quality-control process.

About Butterfly

Hikosuke Tamasu founded Tamasu Co., Ltd. in the small town of Yanai City, Japan in 1950. This was the beginning of a company career which is almost unique in table tennis. A renowned international for Japan, Tamasu fulfilled his dream of a lifetime when he made his hobby his profession. At that time, he could hardly imagine that he would make Butterfly the leading brand worldwide. Creativity, durability, and a profound technical knowledge meant success. 0ver and over again he looked for new possibilities in order to optimize techniques by innovative playing material. Tamasu realized that each player is different and has strengths and weaknesses. By offering individual playing material Tamasu wanted to help players right from the beginning to emphasize their individuality. Since 1983 Butterfly has its own training and research center in Tokyo. Highly qualified scientists co-operate with world class players and coaches for the development of rubber and blade technology. Butterfly's rubbers and blades are used by more than half of the participants at World and European Championships.

than any of the ping pong balls at most retail outlets. They are larger and a bit heavier. Our table is outside and the game is much less wind-affected with these.

These are just great balls! Butterfly manufactures some of the best Table Tennis balls and their 3 star series are commonly used in competition throughout the world. Upon playing with them, I find them to be very consistent from one to another.

These table tennis balls are great. As soon as I tried them you could feel the difference with other brands. It has a nice bounce and last long, and I mean long. Butterfly 3-star balls are perfect for reacreational play as well as for competitive play so if you're a beginner this is what you want to use or if you are a higher level player (intermediate to expert) these balls will get the job done. These balls are worth every cent you spend. It will be the official ball for the 2009 World Championships for one reason; they're superb!

These balls are superior to other 3-star brands I have bought locally. They are very solid, ie. strong against the slams. A very consistant bounce, and good reaction to spin. Very happy with purchase.

These are great balls. I play intermediate level game and hit a lot of shots. Even with extreme playing, the ball will last for 40-50 playing hours. The other exciting thing is the consistent bounce. Once you try this, you won't go back to any others! Just buy it, it is more than worth the money you pay for it.
