Good for beginner. Definitely not good to build your skill. Nov 10, 2008 This was my second, more expensive Stiga paddle. It is a little better than the 14.99 paddle, but not much. The ball does not seems to bounce off the paddle in the right proportion to your exerted force. Since them, I had gone on to purchase many more paddles and there are much better ones out there for about half as much. If you search hard enough, you can find a five-layer with carbon for much less or a seven-layer with carbon plus titanium mesh for only slightly more expensive.
Do your homework. Search around.

Average Control Lightweight Paddle Aug 01, 2006 In my paddle collection this one falls behind from similar priced namebrands like Butterfly, DONIC, Yasaka... Killerspin. I tried speed glueing and increased the speed and control. It made a higher mark for its defensive abilities, but aside from speed this is not for the offensive player.
